Managers use Workboard to set goals and assign actions, yet an important item can still be missed between meetings. A new action item or meeting may need a quick reminder, while a comment can contain information that a person should see promptly. Sending those updates manually adds another task to the manager's list.

With Zapier, Workboard events such as New Action Item, New Goal and New Meeting can run Mobile Message's Send SMS action. The text can remind an assignee about an action, announce a newly selected goal or share meeting details. New Action Item can also run Create Contact when a suitable mobile number is available. Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger can run Workboard's Create Action Item, giving a team a visible action when an incoming text contains a task request.

These workflows are deliberately one-directional. They do not create a native two-way sync between Workboard and Mobile Message. Map the assignee, goal, action or meeting fields into a concise plain text message. That lets managers reserve their attention for decisions while selected updates reach people through a channel they notice.
