Tangelo SMS Integration

Employees notice the value of a well-organised onboarding plan when each completed step leads naturally to the next useful instruction. Tangelo gives teams checklists that help new starters understand what to focus on, while Mobile Message can put a timely SMS in front of the person completing the work. That can make milestones more visible without asking a manager to monitor every checklist.

Through Zapier, Tangelo’s Task Completed trigger can start a Mobile Message action. Send a short welcome or milestone message when an important onboarding task is completed, create the employee as a contact, or place them on a list for a particular onboarding stage. The SMS can remind a new starter about the next step or tell a manager that progress has been recorded.

Tangelo remains the system for onboarding checklists and task completion. Mobile Message handles the resulting SMS or contact action. This is not a two-way update between the platforms, and it does not create Tangelo tasks from incoming messages. It simply turns a useful onboarding event into a clear, repeatable communication.
