TimeTackle SMS Integration

Time tracking and cost data often need to be exported before a manager can review them, which creates a small but recurring administrative chase. TimeTackle can start a Mobile Message notification when an export request is made, so the relevant person knows the data process has begun.

Use New Export as the TimeTackle trigger and Mobile Message’s Send SMS action to notify an accounts or project contact. The message can include the request details available to the Zap, giving the recipient a prompt to review the resulting calendar event data in TimeTackle. Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger can also run TimeTackle’s Export Calendar Events action when a colleague sends a text containing a suitable request. These workflows are configured through Zapier and are deliberately one directional. They do not synchronise time entries, calendar events or export files between the services. Because TimeTackle has one trigger and one action in the supplied connection, choose the direction that best fits your operating routine. Test the field mapping and message content so each export request produces a result someone can recognise.
