A candidate applies for a role in Rooster while a recruiter is handling several open positions. The application should receive a prompt acknowledgement, and the hiring team may need to know about it without constantly refreshing the applicant tracking system. Rooster can start a Zap when a new candidate applies or when a candidate status is updated. Mobile Message can then send an SMS to the candidate or the relevant hiring team.

A status change could mark an invitation to interview, a request for more information or a decision that needs communicating. New candidate comments can also notify a recruiter when discussion requires attention. Mobile Message can send these messages to an individual or list, using the information available in the Rooster event.

Rooster supplies triggers only, so the useful direction here is from Rooster into Mobile Message. There is no Rooster action available for an inbound SMS to create or update a candidate. The connection runs through Zapier as separate one-way workflows, not as a native integration or automatic synchronisation of recruitment records.
