Redacto SMS Integration

Yes - Mobile Message does integrate with Redacto!

A customer withdraws consent during a busy support shift, and the change needs to be visible before the next message is considered. Redacto can send a consent revoked event for a specific purpose, giving a Zap an immediate signal to add an unsubscribe in Mobile Message. That reduces the manual chase between governance records and messaging controls.

Redacto can also report when new consent is granted. That event can trigger a Mobile Message contact action, such as creating a contact or adding an existing contact to a relevant list, where the consent record supports that use. A consent revoked event can add an unsubscribe for the matching number, while a new consent granted event can create a contact for permitted communications. Mobile Message processes the selected action through Zapier, and Redacto remains the source of the consent event. Careful field mapping and purpose rules are still important, especially where several message lists or communication purposes exist.

This connection does not synchronise consent records or update both systems automatically. It creates focused workflows for the events your compliance and marketing teams already monitor. Those workflows can help prevent an old list entry from being treated as permission to send, while making newly permitted contacts available for an appropriate Mobile Message process.

Redacto + SMS: common questions

Can Redacto unsubscribe a number when consent is revoked?

Yes. Use Consent Revoked as the Redacto trigger and Add Unsubscribe in Mobile Message as the action. Map the person's mobile number and apply the Zap only to the relevant consent purpose.

Can new Redacto consent add someone to an SMS list?

Yes. New Consent Granted can trigger Add Contact to List or Create Contact in Mobile Message. Your Zap should map the approved purpose and the person's mobile details carefully.

How do I connect Redacto consent events to Mobile Message?

Set up the workflow in Zapier with Redacto providing the trigger and Mobile Message providing the action. You need both accounts, and the connection can be configured without writing code.
