HackerRank SMS Integration

A candidate completes a HackerRank interview or assessment, and the hiring team needs to decide what happens next. If the result stays in the platform until someone checks it, a suitable candidate may wait longer than necessary. A Zap can use New Interview Result or New Assessment Result to send a plain text alert through Mobile Message.

This connection helps recruiters and technical hiring teams keep candidate movement visible. An interview result can notify the recruiter to review the candidate, while an assessment result can send a message to the hiring manager with the available result details. HackerRank’s Schedule Interview and Send Assessment actions can also be started by an inbound SMS when a suitable candidate instruction is received, but the fields and process must be configured carefully. The connection runs through Zapier and is not a native two-way hiring workflow. Mobile Message sends the SMS or receives the inbound message, while HackerRank performs only the selected action.
