Recruitment teams using GoHire can give candidates a quicker response when a job application arrives. New Candidate can start a Zap through Zapier, with Mobile Message sending a plain text acknowledgement, explaining the next step or confirming that the application is being reviewed. Job Posted can also trigger an SMS when a suitable recipient and mobile number are available.

A New Candidate workflow can create a Mobile Message contact instead, giving the recruitment team a record for future communication. Get Candidates and Get Candidates External App are retrieval events rather than clear candidate milestones, so they should be used only when their returned data matches a specific messaging process. Add Candidate to a Stage is an action in GoHire, and can be triggered by Inbound SMS Received when an SMS reply represents a stage change that the team has defined.
