A Zapier connection can respond when a new user is created or when a user passes a skill. Mobile Message can send an SMS to the employee, manager, or training contact using the details available in the event.

A new user can receive a welcome message with their next step, while Skill Passed can trigger a short acknowledgement or alert for a manager. You can also create a Mobile Message contact or add a person to a list as users enter the platform. GainKnowHow actions include creating users and skill assignments, but the useful notification path here starts with GainKnowHow and ends with Mobile Message. This helps make onboarding milestones visible without asking a coordinator to monitor every record.

The Zap does not update both systems or replace GainKnowHow's training controls. It simply turns selected user and skill events into plain-text SMS notifications, with Zapier handling the field mapping and timing.
