Chasing an employee to confirm they've clocked in, or hunting through a spreadsheet to find the right time segment when payroll queries come in, eats into a morning that should be spent on other things. ClockIt tracks time and lets payroll run in minutes, and its Create Segment URL action generates a direct link to a specific time segment that would otherwise mean logging into ClockIt and searching for it.

That link is only useful once someone actually sees it, which is where Mobile Message comes in through Zapier. A shift starting in Google Calendar, a timesheet submitted through Google Forms or a shift booking made in Calendly can all set off a Zap that has ClockIt create the segment link and Mobile Message text it straight to the person who needs it.

Instead of a manager digging through ClockIt to work out whose hours are missing for last Tuesday, the link turns up in a text message before anyone has to ask. It's a small change that removes one more thing to chase down at the end of a busy pay period, without anyone needing to open ClockIt at all.
