A new starter's account gets created in Microsoft Entra ID before their first day, HR and IT tick their part of the checklist, and then someone still has to remember to actually tell the person their login is ready. On a busy onboarding morning that message is the one that gets forgotten, and the new starter turns up not knowing whether to expect an email, a call or nothing at all.

Connected to Mobile Message through Zapier, Entra ID can remove that gap by handing the moment a new user is created straight to a text. The new account triggers an outgoing message the instant it's provisioned, so the new starter gets a text confirming their access is ready without anyone adding it to their morning list. The same event can also create a contact record in Mobile Message, so that person's number is already saved for any text that follows, from a welcome message through to a reminder about their first day induction.
