A new customer can be created in Zengain by Nalpeiron while the revenue team is still preparing its first welcome contact. That manual chase can delay an important message. Use the New Customer trigger in Zapier to create a Mobile Message contact, send a welcome SMS, or add the person to a suitable list.

Updated Customer can also start an Update Contact action when customer details change in Zengain. If a customer should no longer receive messages, a separate workflow can use the same event to add an unsubscribe record, provided your Zengain data clearly signals that decision. Zengain actions such as Create Customer and Create Customer Contact work in the opposite direction and do not themselves send an SMS.

These workflows are one-way paths selected for a specific event, not a two-way customer database sync. The connection runs through Zapier, with Zengain and Mobile Message accounts needed. Map unique identifiers and mobile numbers carefully, then test contact creation and message consent before going live.
