A task is completed in XNote, and someone on your team needs to know what happens next. Instead of checking notes throughout the day, you can use Zapier to send a Mobile Message SMS when a task is completed, an event is created, or a note is updated with the text you choose. This is useful for internal reminders, customer follow-up and time-sensitive work that should not sit unseen in a notebook.

You can also create tasks with a text condition or priority condition, then send different messages based on the information captured in XNote. For example, a high-priority task can alert an on-call worker, while an event containing a customer name can prompt a confirmation text. Mobile Message can send an SMS, send an SMS to a list, or create a contact from the details passed through the Zap. The connection runs through Zapier, so you choose the XNote event, map the relevant fields and decide who receives the message.
