Webling can send Zapier a New Member event as soon as that person is created. Mobile Message can then send a welcome SMS, create the member as a contact, or add the person to a list. The result is a prompt first message and a cleaner starting point for member communication.

You might send joining instructions, an upcoming meeting reminder or a simple invitation to reply with a preferred contact detail. The member’s name and mobile number can be mapped from Webling into the SMS. If an inbound SMS is received by Mobile Message, a Zap can create a new member in Webling, although this should be used only when the reply contains the information your membership team needs. The connection is configured through Zapier using separate accounts. It does not continuously synchronise every change between Webling and Mobile Message, so each workflow should have one clear event and one visible outcome.
