A New Lead trigger can send a message confirming receipt and explaining when the firm will respond. New Referral can alert the relevant team member or acknowledge the referral, while Referral Sub-Status Changed can send a focused update when documents are requested or the matter moves into contact. Lead Status Changed is also useful for messages tied to a firm’s intake process.

The connection is made through Zapier, not through a native two-way link. Both platforms provide the fields and actions used in the workflow, so map the lead’s mobile number and write text that avoids sharing unnecessary confidential information. You can also use Inbound SMS Received to run VerdictFlow’s Update Lead action when a client replies and the information should be recorded in the lead. Test with sample data and apply your firm’s consent and privacy practices before going live.
