Can an incoming text be logged as a communication in Vaunt?

Yes. Once Mobile Message and Vaunt are connected through Zapier, an inbound text can run the Create Client Communication action, adding a record to Vaunt the same way a call or email would.

Can a text from a new prospect create a lead in Vaunt?

It can. The same inbound text can instead run the Create Lead Message action, which Vaunt uses to generate a new lead, so a first enquiry by SMS still lands where an agent will see it.

What's involved in getting Vaunt to pick up texts from Mobile Message?

You need a Mobile Message account, a Vaunt account and a free Zapier account to join them. Inside Zapier you choose the inbound text trigger and map it to whichever Vaunt action fits, no code required.
