UnifiedCRM SMS Integration

Yes - Mobile Message does integrate with UnifiedCRM!

A CRM notification rule has fired, but the person who needs to respond may not be looking at UnifiedCRM. UnifiedCRM can provide a Notification Rule Triggered event, while Mobile Message can send a plain text alert through Zapier. That gives sales and service teams a direct prompt when a configured CRM condition requires attention.

Use the event to send an SMS to a record owner, manager or operations contact. The message can include information supplied by UnifiedCRM, such as a record reference or notification detail. If a new person also needs to be recorded in Mobile Message, another workflow can use Create Contact as a Mobile Message action, based on an event that provides the required contact information.

This connection is a practical alert path rather than a CRM replacement. UnifiedCRM starts the Zap and Mobile Message sends the text or creates a contact. It does not automatically sync records, notes or field values between the platforms. A reply to an SMS is an inbound Mobile Message event and needs its own Zap if you want to handle it separately.

  • Add Note to Record — Add a note to a record. Pass in recordId and the note as plain text. If the record is not found, an exception is thrown.
  • Create Contact — Create a new Contact using external data. Returns the id of the new contact created in a field called "recordId". Email address and linkedIn must be globally unique inside UnifiedCRM.
  • Create Lead — Create a new Lead using external data. Returns the id of the new lead created in a field called "recordId". Email address and linkedIn must be globally unique inside UnifiedCRM.
  • Create Workspace — Create a Workspace with a Lead
  • Customer User Exists? — Identifies if the Customer User (Lead or Contact) exists inside UnifiedCRM. Email ("email") is passed a look-up value. Returns "customerUserExists" with a value of true or false.
  • Customer User Invited? — Whether the Customer User (Lead or Contact) has been invited to log-in to UnifiedCRM.
  • Find Customer User by Email — Find a customer user (Lead or Contact) by their email address. If no user is found, an error is thrown. If a user is found, their unique recordId value is returned and a recordFound value equal to true. It also provides a user type value equal to either "lead" or "contact".
  • Get Record — Get the details for a Record by passing in the unique record id. If the record is found, returns "recordFound" as true and the record data as "record". If the record is not found, throws "Record not found" exception.
