A hiring team wants every fresh applicant lead acknowledged quickly, but another tab and another manual entry can delay the first response. Two Ladders can send New Leads into a Zap that texts a recruiter through Mobile Message. The result is a prompt that is visible where the team already works, rather than a lead waiting unnoticed in the applicant system.

The same Two Ladders event can also create a Mobile Message contact or add that person to a list, so the lead has a usable SMS destination for later campaigns or follow-up. If an applicant texts back, Inbound SMS Received can trigger Two Ladders’ New Leads action, placing the response into the system as a new lead. That is a separate workflow, not a synchronised record. The connection is configured in Zapier and uses the fields supplied by each step. Keep messages clear and identify the recruiting team member who should act on the alert.
