Coliving operators who run resident tasks, tickets and announcements in Sumizy need to know when an issue changes, not only when someone checks the platform. A new support ticket can need an immediate acknowledgement, while an updated task may affect a cleaner, manager or resident. A Zapier connection to Mobile Message can turn selected Sumizy events into SMS notices for the people responsible.

Use Sumizy’s New Ticket trigger with Mobile Message’s Send SMS action to alert a team member when a resident raises a support request. Updated Ticket can notify the assigned person when information changes. New Task and Updated Task can send operational messages to a nominated recipient or to a Mobile Message list. Select conditions carefully so routine changes do not create unnecessary texts, and use the fields available from Sumizy to personalise each message.

Sumizy’s Update Ticket and Update Task actions can also be started by Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger when a defined text process should change a record. For example, a staff member’s text could provide an update that Zapier maps into the selected action. This is not a native two-way integration or automatic synchronisation. Sumizy remains the community work platform, while Mobile Message handles the SMS action you configure.
