Pure Chat SMS Integration

A visitor lands on the website outside business hours, starts a chat, types a question, and waits. Nobody is watching Pure Chat at nine at night, so the message sits there until someone opens the dashboard the next morning, by which time the visitor has usually gone looking somewhere else and found a competitor instead.

Pure Chat tracks each of these moments already, a new chat being started, a chat wrapping up, an email address being left behind, and none of it needs to end at the chat widget once it happens. Linked to Mobile Message through Zapier, a new chat request can text the team straight away instead of waiting for someone to refresh a tab, and an email address collected mid conversation can be added as a Mobile Message contact automatically, ready for whatever comes next.

Once a conversation finishes, a text can go out to the visitor as a follow up, reaching them on a channel they're more likely to actually see than a marketing email. None of this replaces watching the chat widget for urgent conversations, but it means a quiet chat outside office hours no longer disappears until the next login, and a contact worth keeping doesn't get lost in a transcript nobody reopens.
