Marketing and operations teams often run Simply Send for email delivery, then need a text message when an important email or account event occurs. Simply Send's New Email and Account Events trigger can start a Zap that sends an SMS through Mobile Message, helping staff notice a delivery issue or customer milestone without watching another dashboard.

The same event can also send an SMS to a list, which suits an operations group responsible for transactional email or campaign activity. Mobile Message can create a contact from information supplied by the event, or add that contact to a list when the workflow has the required details. Simply Send's Send Transactional Email and Send Marketing Email actions are useful in the reverse direction when an inbound SMS should initiate an email, but only where the required email fields are available.

The connection works through Zapier and is assembled as individual one-way workflows. It does not mean Simply Send and Mobile Message maintain a native two-way contact or delivery sync.
