SignUpGenius SMS Integration

Community organisers, schools and volunteer coordinators often use SignUpGenius to fill shifts, manage groups and keep events moving. When a New Slot Filled event appears, Zapier can ask Mobile Message to Send SMS to the person involved or to a relevant list. New Group Member can also create a Mobile Message contact or add someone to a list.

That gives organisers a practical way to acknowledge a filled slot, welcome a new member or send event information to people who need it. New Event can start a message when a sign-up event occurs, although availability depends on the SignUpGenius plan. Mobile Message can send a direct text, send SMS to List or maintain contact records for future notices.

The workflow is built around a single SignUpGenius event and a selected Mobile Message action. It does not imply that the platforms share every record or update one another automatically. Instead, Zapier passes the fields you choose, helping a small team communicate promptly while keeping group coordination in SignUpGenius.
