Sequenzy SMS Integration

Yes - Mobile Message does integrate with Sequenzy!

A customer texts back to ask about their trial, or replies to say they want to cancel, and none of that ever reaches the email platform running your lifecycle campaigns. Someone has to remember to open Sequenzy and update the subscriber by hand, and if they forget, an onboarding email or a renewal reminder goes out to someone who already answered.

Connected through Zapier, a reply coming in as Inbound SMS Received can create or update a subscriber straight away, so the record in Sequenzy reflects what the customer actually said. The same reply can trigger a custom event for that subscriber, which is useful for kicking off a different lifecycle sequence once someone has engaged by text. A tag can be added to a subscriber at the same time, marking them as responsive or flagging them for a different email track.

None of this touches how Sequenzy sends its own campaigns, it only keeps the subscriber record current based on what happens over SMS. A subscriber can also be deleted once a text reply makes it clear they should be removed from an active sequence, which keeps unsubscribed or bounced contacts from lingering where they no longer belong.

Sequenzy + SMS: common questions

Can Sequenzy update a subscriber automatically when a customer replies by text?

Yes. Using Zapier, Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger can run Sequenzy's Create or Update Subscriber action, so a customer's SMS reply updates their subscriber record without anyone opening Sequenzy to do it by hand.

Can a customer be tagged in Sequenzy after they text back a reply?

Yes. A reply coming in as Inbound SMS Received can trigger Sequenzy's Add Tag to Subscriber action through Zapier, marking that subscriber straight away so a different lifecycle sequence or segment can pick them up later.

How do I get Sequenzy talking to Mobile Message?

Both accounts connect through Zapier, with no code needed. You sign in to each one from inside Zapier, choose Inbound SMS Received as the trigger and a Sequenzy action such as Create or Update Subscriber, and the automation runs on its own from there.
