REI BlackBook SMS Integration

A real estate investor adds a contact in REI BlackBook and needs a prompt follow-up before the lead goes cold. Contact Recently Created can trigger a Mobile Message SMS, while Contact Recently Created or Updated can notify a team when an existing record changes. Contact Field Updated is useful when a particular detail signals that someone should act.

The connection runs through Zapier, so you can turn a selected REI BlackBook event into an individual message or a notice to a Mobile Message list. A new contact could receive a simple acknowledgement, or an acquisitions team could be told that a lead field has changed. The message is plain text and can use the event details provided by REI BlackBook.

REI BlackBook also provides Create or Update Contact Using Email and Create or Update Contact Using Phone Number. An Inbound SMS Received event can start either action where the incoming number or email and the other required information are available. These are separate one-way Zaps, not a native two-way contact sync.
