It's the end of the month and the shoebox of receipts on the desk has turned into a folder of phone photos, PDFs and scanned bank statements that still need to be typed into the books by hand. Receipt Bot takes that pile and reads it, using its Upload Document action to pull the numbers out of each PDF, PNG, JPG or JPEG a bookkeeper hands it.

Receipt Bot only offers that one upload action through Zapier, so it has no event of its own to kick off an automation and can't hand Mobile Message a trigger directly. That makes it best used as one step inside a longer Zap, sitting between whatever app supplies the document and whatever happens after the data is extracted. In that kind of workflow, Mobile Message can still play a part, texting a bookkeeper or client at another point in the same Zap, just not one driven straight off a Receipt Bot event.
