People who work with Readwise often collect more useful material than they can revisit immediately. A highlight can be created during reading, tagged later or moved into an inbox for processing. For a team that uses selected research in its daily work, those events can otherwise remain inside Readwise until somebody remembers to share them. Zapier can turn a Readwise event into a Mobile Message notification.

For example, Highlight Created can send an SMS containing a short excerpt to a colleague. Document Finished can notify a manager that a resource has been reviewed, while a highlighted tag can trigger a message to a chosen Mobile Message list. These workflows are best for concise reminders and internal sharing, since SMS is plain text and long reading material should remain in its original source.

You decide which Readwise trigger matters, what fields are included and who receives the message. The connection does not synchronise libraries or create a reading system inside Mobile Message. It simply gives important reading activity a practical, visible alert through Zapier.
