About the Questmate integration

A recurring task is often completed at the end of a busy shift, when the next person needs to know what happened without checking Questmate straight away. Questmate records recurring processes and business routines, while Mobile Message can make a completed run visible by SMS. Zapier carries the selected event into the message workflow, so staff receive a clear notification at the point of completion.

Quest Run Completed can send a confirmation to a manager, notify a customer that a service task is finished or prompt the next step in a routine. Item Changed can be useful when a particular task value changes and someone needs an immediate alert. Mobile Message can also start Create & Assign Quest Run after an inbound SMS, allowing a text from a customer or staff member to create a new assigned run when the required information is available.

The connection uses separate Zaps rather than a live two-way link. Questmate remains responsible for recurring tasks and assignments, while Mobile Message sends or receives plain text messages. Choose one event and one clear result for each workflow.

Yes. Quest Run Completed can trigger Mobile Message's Send SMS action through Zapier. Use the completion details and recipient number available in the Questmate event to send a clear status message.

Can an inbound SMS create a Questmate run?

Yes. Inbound SMS Received can start Questmate's Create & Assign Quest Run action. Map the sender and task information required by Questmate so the text can create and assign a new run.

How do I connect Questmate task alerts with Mobile Message?
