Use Task Past Due to send an SMS to the assigned person, or Task Assigned to notify someone when responsibility changes. Process Instance Completed can also send a completion message to a manager or customer where appropriate. Mobile Message’s Send SMS action is the clearest pairing for these events. If a customer texts your Mobile Message number, Inbound SMS Received could start ProcessPlan’s Start a New Process action when the incoming information is enough to begin a known workflow. Each Zap is one-directional and configured through Zapier. Review message recipients, process identifiers and privacy settings, then test reminders with a non-production process before activation.
