Ponto SMS Integration

A new bank transaction can change what a customer needs to know, especially when a payment, receipt or balance requires prompt attention. Ponto gives companies API access to financial information from supported European banks, while Mobile Message can turn selected financial events into clear customer or staff updates by SMS. Through Zapier, Ponto events can start those messages.

Use New Transaction when an account records a transaction, or New Balance when a new account balance is detected. Pair either event with Send SMS to notify a nominated person about the amount, account or financial event available in the Zap. Create Contact can also add a relevant person to Mobile Message when a separate workflow supplies their details.

Ponto’s Create Payment action can be used when another system starts a Zap and the payment details are available for Ponto. The connection is best suited to focused alerts and operational steps rather than general financial synchronisation. You decide which Ponto event matters, who should receive the SMS and what information is appropriate to include. Test the mapping before sending live notifications.
