A tax professional opens the morning workflow and sees that a client’s case status has changed in PitBullTax. That event can start a Zap which sends an SMS through Mobile Message, giving the client or responsible staff member a timely update. New Client / Prospect, Updated Case Status and New File are practical points for alerts when a person needs to know that work has moved forward.

PitBullTax stores client, prospect, case and file information for tax resolution work, while Mobile Message can deliver a separate plain text notification. Zapier passes the selected fields between the accounts. It is not a native integration and it does not synchronise tax records, case histories or files. A New Client / Prospect event can send a welcome or next-step message, while Updated Case Status can alert a client that their matter has changed. New File can notify staff that a file is ready to review. Keep confidential information out of the SMS and direct recipients to the appropriate secure process where necessary.

A Mobile Message inbound SMS can also trigger PitBullTax actions such as creating a prospect client or updating a case, but only when the message provides reliable information and the workflow has been tested carefully. Start with one alert and expand after the mapping is confirmed.
