PassEngine SMS Integration

Venue operators, event teams, and membership organisations can use PassEngine to manage digital passes while keeping visitors informed at important moments. A pass being scanned, activated, revoked, or marked as used can otherwise leave staff relying on separate checks and manual messages. With Zapier, PassEngine events can start SMS actions in Mobile Message, giving customers clearer information around access and attendance.

For example, a new pass can trigger a text with entry guidance, while a pass status change can notify a member that access has changed. PassEngine can also create a client, activate a pass, revoke a pass, update a pass, or scan a pass when Mobile Message receives an inbound SMS. These workflows help turn pass activity into visible customer communication without suggesting that the two systems maintain a continuous sync.

Mobile Message can send SMS, send SMS to a list, create contacts, and add contacts to lists. You choose the event, message, recipient fields, and any filters in Zapier. PassEngine remains responsible for pass records and scanning, while Mobile Message handles the outbound text or contact step selected in the Zap.
