MIP SMS Integration

A customer texts a business for the first time, maybe replying to a promotion or asking a question, and that reply is often the first real signal that they are worth tracking properly. If that moment does not turn into a contact record somewhere, the business has no way to follow up or build on it later, and the person who reached out ends up as nothing more than a number in a phone's message list.

Mobile Message connects to MIP through Zapier so that first reply can do more than sit in a phone. When Inbound SMS Received fires on a text from a new number, that event can create a new contact in MIP automatically, capturing the person's number as a lead the moment they get in touch rather than after someone remembers to add them by hand, days after the original conversation has been forgotten.

From there, MIP's own marketing and CRM tools take over, keeping the record and building on it as the business sees fit. Mobile Message's role in the automation stops at getting the contact created, and everything an operator wants to do afterwards, from segmenting to running a campaign, is handled inside MIP itself, using the same platform a CRM and marketing team already relies on day to day.
