A document arrives in MFPInTheCloud and the next step depends on a workflow that someone has not started yet. That can hold up a customer update, internal hand-off or processing task while staff check files manually. The result is a useful document sitting in the system without an obvious notification.

With MFPInTheCloud connected to Mobile Message through Zapier, Workflow can trigger an SMS when a new file is added. The message can alert a team member that processing is needed, or notify a customer that their file has been received. You can map available file details into the SMS and use Mobile Message to create a contact when a new recipient needs a record.

MFPInTheCloud also offers Start Workflow as an action. An inbound SMS received by Mobile Message can therefore start a suitable MFPInTheCloud workflow, where the information and permissions in your setup support that process. These Zaps let a file event or a customer message produce a visible next step, without claiming that the two platforms maintain a continuous shared record.
