Operators who use Locu to manage tasks, notes and focus sessions can put important work prompts in front of the right person by SMS. A new task can alert a team member, while a timer starting or stopping can notify someone that a planned work session has changed.

Locu also provides Create Note and Create Task as actions. When a team member sends an SMS to Mobile Message, the Zap can use that event to create a note or task in Locu, provided the message contains the information required by the selected fields. This gives a practical route from a texted instruction into the task list or notes area.

Through Zapier, choose whether Locu starts the workflow or Mobile Message does. A Locu event can trigger Send SMS, Send SMS to List or a contact action, while an inbound Mobile Message can trigger Create Note or Create Task. Locu remains the work-planning system, and Mobile Message handles the configured text and contact steps. There is no automatic two-way update between the apps.
