A customer receives a short link in a text message and clicks it within seconds. With Linkkit, that click can become a useful signal for what happens next, while a newly created link can be distributed automatically through Mobile Message. Instead of copying links and messages between tools, your Zap can use Linkkit’s link events to send a timely SMS.

A new short link might trigger a campaign message containing the trackable URL. A Link Clicked event can notify a sales or support team that someone has engaged, using the available click details in the workflow. Linkkit’s link actions can create, update or delete short links, but the most direct customer-facing pairing is New Link Created with Send SMS.

This connection is configured through Zapier and works in one direction for each Zap. Linkkit supplies the event, and Mobile Message sends the plain-text SMS. You can choose the recipient and message fields so the text matches the campaign or internal alert you want to run.
