InstantCard SMS Integration

Yes - Mobile Message does integrate with InstantCard!

A new employee finishes their onboarding form, an event attendee registers, or a customer completes a request for a replacement pass, and somewhere in the background InstantCard is drafting, finalising and printing their ID card. The end result should be a person who knows their card is on its way, not someone left guessing whether the request even went through.

Connect InstantCard to Mobile Message through Zapier and that final step is covered by text. A card gets finalised, a print job gets submitted, and a message lands on the recipient's phone confirming it. There's no need for anyone on your team to chase up whether the card was made, and no need for the recipient to email in asking where their card is.

Because the connection runs through Zapier rather than a native integration, InstantCard's card and print actions stay separate from Mobile Message's messaging, each one-directional, with an event on one side triggering a step on the other. That's enough to close the loop between creating a card and telling someone it exists, whether the trigger is a completed onboarding form, an event registration or a submitted design request.

InstantCard + SMS: common questions

Can InstantCard text an employee when their ID card is ready?

Yes. When InstantCard finalises a card or submits a print job, a Zap can trigger Mobile Message to send a text to the recipient's phone, so they know the card exists without emailing to check.

Does InstantCard send text notifications on its own?

No. InstantCard handles the card design and print job, and Mobile Message handles the SMS. Zapier joins the two so a card action on InstantCard's side triggers a message step on Mobile Message's side.

What do I need to connect InstantCard to text messaging?

An InstantCard account, a Mobile Message account and a Zapier account. Pick a trigger such as a completed form, add a card action from InstantCard, then add a Send SMS step. No coding is involved.
