Email teams often see delivery, bounce, open and click events in Inboxroad while SMS activity sits in a separate workflow. That split can make it harder to react consistently when a subscriber changes status or a campaign reaches an important milestone.

Inboxroad’s New Event trigger covers delivered, bounced, opened, clicked, complaint, subscription change and campaign sent events. It can start Mobile Message’s Send SMS action for a useful follow-up, or create a contact and add it to a list. For example, a relevant event can prompt a customer service text or place a contact into a group for review. Mobile Message’s Add Unsubscribe action can also help apply a Mobile Message opt-out when an appropriate Inboxroad event is selected.

Inboxroad actions such as Add or Update Contact and Unsubscribe Contact can be started by Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received or Delivery Status Updated triggers. Select the direction that matches the record you need to change, and test status rules carefully so one email event does not create unwanted SMS activity.
