A sale closes in Final POS while your staff are serving customers and managing stock. If the event matters to another person, waiting for a manual report can delay the response. A Zapier connection to Mobile Message can turn Final POS activity into an SMS notification, helping your team notice a new order, customer or session without repeatedly checking the point of sale system.

Use Final POS’s Order Created trigger with Mobile Message’s Send SMS action to notify a manager or customer about a completed order. Customer Created can send a welcome or internal alert, while Stock Updated can notify a stock contact when a change needs review. Session Closed can also send a plain-text summary prompt to a nominated recipient when trading activity ends.

Final POS’s Custom Event trigger can support a defined event using the Run automation in Zapier action. Mobile Message then sends the selected SMS or sends to a list. Final POS has no listed actions, so it cannot receive a Mobile Message trigger in these workflows. The connection is set up in Zapier, not as a native two-way integration, and each message uses fields available from the Final POS event.
