Product teams using Doran often need to react when a customer idea or comment appears, not hours later after someone checks the roadmap. Doran offers New Idea, New Comment and New Post triggers, so Zapier can pass a selected event to Mobile Message for an immediate SMS notification.

A new idea can alert the product owner for triage, while a comment can tell a support or product specialist that a customer has added context. A new post can notify a launch team that an update is available for review. The SMS can include the Doran record details supplied by the trigger, helping the recipient decide whether to open Doran and respond. Filters can be added in Zapier when you need to limit messages by project, author or other available fields.

Doran's Create Comment, Create Post and Create Idea actions can also be started by Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger when the text contains suitable content. This can turn a staff text into a Doran record, but it remains a specific Zap rather than a two-way synchronisation. Delivery Status Updated is available separately for outgoing SMS checks.
