CharityEngine SMS Integration

Yes - Mobile Message does integrate with CharityEngine!

Fundraising teams often need to acknowledge a new donor or payment quickly, but a person may not be watching CharityEngine when the transaction arrives. A Zap can use New Contacts or New Transactions to send a plain text SMS through Mobile Message, giving staff a prompt to thank the supporter or review the payment.

This connection suits charities that manage contacts, fundraising and payments in CharityEngine. A new contact can create a Mobile Message contact or add the person to a selected list, while a new transaction can alert a finance or fundraising team member. The SMS can include the supporter name, transaction information and other fields available from the CharityEngine event. You can also use Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger with CharityEngine’s Create Activity action when a supporter’s text should be recorded as an activity, provided the incoming details can be mapped to the required fields. The connection is made through Zapier. It does not create a native two-way supporter database or automatically synchronise records.

Yes. Use New Transactions as the CharityEngine trigger and Send SMS as the Mobile Message action. Map the available transaction and supporter details into an internal notification.
