A new community member joins, and the first message can shape whether they take part or simply disappear. Burb can report when a member is added, when a member is added to a group, or when a new group is created. A Zapier connection to Mobile Message lets you send a timely SMS to welcome people or alert community staff.

Text a new member with their next step, notify someone when they join a particular group, or alert an organiser that a new group has been created. Burb's member and group details can be mapped into the message in Zapier. You can also use Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger with Burb's Create Member or Create a Member Pending Approval action when an incoming text supplies suitable member information.

These workflows give community operators visible actions at the moments they care about. They do not sync Burb and Mobile Message records or create a native two-way connection. Choose the trigger, map the available fields and set the SMS wording or Burb action in Zapier.
