Can a text reply create a new customer in Billit?

Yes. Once Mobile Message and Billit are connected through Zapier, an Inbound SMS Received event, meaning a customer has replied or texted in, can trigger Billit's Create Customer action, adding that person to your Billit account without anyone typing the details in by hand.

Does Billit only add customers, or can invoices go out from a text too?

This connection covers actions inside Billit such as Create Customer, Create Invoice, Quick Invoice and Update Product, and any of them can be set to run once Mobile Message reports that a customer has replied or texted in, though it cannot pull invoice or order details out of the text itself.

What is needed to connect Billit and Mobile Message?

You need an active Mobile Message account and a Billit account, then a Zap ties the two together. There is no coding involved, just picking an event on the Mobile Message side and one of Billit's actions, such as Create Customer, on the other.
