An AUTORO workflow needs to run at the right moment, but staff should not have to watch a dashboard and start it manually. AUTORO's Run Workflow action can be called by a Zap when an inbound SMS reaches Mobile Message. This gives a customer or employee a simple text-based way to request an approved automated process.

For example, a person could text a service number with a reference or instruction, and the Zap could pass the relevant information into Run Workflow. AUTORO also provides Get All Workflows as a trigger when workflows are requested, although the most practical customer-facing result comes from using an inbound Mobile Message event to start the RPA workflow. The text can contain only the plain information your AUTORO project is designed to handle.

This connection is built through Zapier. Choose the Mobile Message trigger, select the AUTORO action, map the inbound text and any identifiers, then test the workflow carefully before making it available to customers. Both services remain separate, and the Zap controls the hand-off.
