About the AssoConnect integration

A non-profit coordinator can add, update or archive a member while volunteers are handling an event or donation task. AssoConnect records the contact event, but the people responsible for welcoming members or correcting records may not see it straight away. Mobile Message can send a focused text when a selected contact change needs attention.

Through Zapier, AssoConnect can trigger Mobile Message when a New Contact is created, an Updated Contact changes or an Archived Contact is recorded. The broader New Contact Event can cover a contact action where that wider event is appropriate. Send SMS can notify one coordinator, while Send SMS to List can alert a membership or administration team.

This connection does not maintain a two-way member database or restore deleted contacts. It sends a plain text notification from the chosen AssoConnect event. Zapier lets you select the fields, message and recipients, so the workflow can focus on welcoming new members, reviewing updates or handling archived records without manual checking.
