Zendesk workforce managers and support leaders use Assembled to keep agent schedules, people, teams and time-off requests visible. Mobile Message can turn selected scheduling events into texts, helping staff receive a useful notice without relying on someone to check the workspace and send it manually.

New Time Off Request can trigger Send SMS for a manager or roster contact, while New Person can trigger Create Contact in Mobile Message. Assembled’s New Activity event can also send a text when a scheduling activity is created. In the other direction, Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger can run Assembled’s Create Activity action, recording a customer or staff message as an activity for an agent. Each workflow is configured in Zapier and operates one way. It does not synchronise schedules or people between the services. Map the event fields, choose the recipient or activity details and test the result before turning the Zap on. This makes important workforce events easier to notice while keeping Assembled as the place where scheduling information is managed.
