Teams that run work in AppFlowy often keep useful operational details in database items. A new item may represent a customer request, a job, or a person who needs an update, but information stored in a workspace does not automatically reach a mobile phone. Through Zapier, AppFlowy events can start Mobile Message actions, giving your team a practical SMS step connected to the record being created or changed.

Use New Database Item to send a plain-text notification, create a Mobile Message contact, or add someone to a list. Updated Database Item can send a revised instruction or status message when the item contains a suitable phone number. Mobile Message can also start AppFlowy’s Create Database Item action after someone sends an inbound SMS, which may be useful for creating a follow-up record from a customer reply. The connection is not a native database synchronisation. It does not decide which items matter or update both systems automatically. Each Zap has one trigger, one action, and mapped fields chosen by you, so the result is a clear notification or record that someone can see and act on.
