A supporter completes a donation in AFRUS and expects a prompt acknowledgement, but fundraising teams may be busy monitoring several campaigns at once. A delay can make the contribution feel overlooked. A Zap can use New Unique Donation Success or New Recurrent Donation Success to send a thank-you SMS through Mobile Message.

AFRUS also provides triggers for New Lead Success, New Signature Project, Subscription Canceled, Lead Abandoned and New Donation Failed. These events can support practical messages, such as a notice about a failed donation or a follow-up after an abandoned lead. New Lead Success can also start Create Contact in Mobile Message, placing a new supporter in the messaging platform for later communication.

The connection is made through Zapier. Select the AFRUS event, choose the Mobile Message action and map the available supporter details. Add filters and message wording that fit your consent process, then test the Zap before enabling it. This helps teams acknowledge successful donations quickly and respond consistently when a supporter record needs attention.
