Worksection SMS Integration

A project lead can see a task completed in Worksection and still need to tell a client or colleague that the milestone has moved forward. The same applies when a new task, project or task comment appears and someone outside the workspace needs to know. Mobile Message can carry those selected updates to a phone without asking the recipient to watch Worksection.

Through Zapier, Task Completed in Project can trigger an SMS confirming progress. New Task in Project can alert an assigned person, while New Comment in Task can notify a stakeholder that a discussion has changed. New Project can send a launch message to a project contact. The message can include the task or project information supplied by Worksection and a clear next step.

Mobile Message can also start a Zap when someone sends an inbound SMS. That event can run Worksection’s Create Comment in Task, Create Task in Project or Close Task action where the incoming message contains a suitable instruction. These are individual one-way automations, not a two-way synchronisation of Worksection records.

Choose recipients and task identifiers carefully so updates reach the right people. Keep the text concise, especially when the message is an operational alert rather than a full project discussion.
