A customer books a service appointment, then waits for the next useful update. WEX FSM can report Appointment Scheduled and Appointment Completed through Zapier. Mobile Message can turn those events into clear text messages, helping customers know what is happening and helping coordinators keep track of work without opening the field service platform for every change.

An appointment scheduled event can trigger Send SMS with the booking time or service details available from WEX FSM. Appointment Completed can send a completion update, while Send SMS to List can alert dispatchers or supervisors. If a new customer's details are available, Mobile Message can Create Contact so the number is available for future permitted messaging. Keep customer-facing wording accurate and use only the information passed by WEX FSM.

WEX FSM also lists Create Customer. That action can be used when an Inbound SMS Received event should create a customer record from an incoming text. Each Zap has one trigger and one action, with Zapier managing the connection rather than a native two-way sync.
