About the Webshipper integration

Shipping teams using Webshipper often need to tell customers what has happened to an order without asking staff to check each shipment manually. Webshipper manages orders, shipments and tracking events, while Mobile Message can turn those events into clear SMS updates. Through Zapier, an order, shipment or tracking event can begin a message workflow.

Shipment can trigger a text when a shipment is created, updated or deleted, while Tracking Event can notify a customer about a recorded delivery milestone. Order can also start an SMS after an order event, and Create Shipment or Create Order can act when another Mobile Message event needs to create a shipping record. The useful pairing depends on where your operational process begins.

For many teams, the main benefit is a timely customer notification based on shipping data already held in Webshipper. You can include the tracking information available to the Zap and choose the Mobile Message recipient. This is not a native two-way integration or a system sync. Zapier runs each selected automation in one direction.

Webshipper + SMS: common questions

Can Webshipper send an SMS for a tracking event?

Yes. Use Webshipper's Tracking Event trigger with Mobile Message's Send SMS action. The Zap can send a plain text update using the tracking and customer fields available from the event.

Can an incoming SMS create a Webshipper shipment?

Yes, where the inbound text provides the information required by Webshipper's Create Shipment action. Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger starts the Zap, and you map the message data into the shipment fields.

How do I connect Webshipper shipping alerts with Mobile Message?

Set up the chosen Webshipper trigger and Mobile Message action in Zapier, test a sample event and publish the Zap. No code is needed. You need active Webshipper and Mobile Message accounts, plus Zapier access to both.
