HR teams using WebHR may need to know quickly when an important staff update is posted. A status update can contain an operational message that should reach people who are not currently checking the dashboard, and manual forwarding creates extra work. WebHR can send its event to Mobile Message through Zapier for a direct SMS alert.

New Status Update is the available WebHR trigger. Pair it with Mobile Message’s Send SMS action to notify an authorised manager, administrator or selected team member when someone posts a new update. The text can include the author, short update and a link to the WebHR dashboard if those fields are available. This gives the recipient a prompt to review the full post in WebHR rather than relying on a separate manual chase.

Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger can start WebHR’s Post Status Update action when a text should be placed on the dashboard and the required fields are available. Use filters to limit alerts to selected authors or update types, and avoid sending confidential HR details in plain text. The workflow is configured through Zapier and does not create a two-way sync.
